What can I expect for a general service? We usually start the service on the exterior of the house. We then spray the inside of the house and garage (unless you choose not to have the inside treated) and use glue boards in the garage area. The garage tends to be a main entry point for all sorts of pests due to small gaps around the corners of most garages. Some customers prefer having only the exterior treated. We are flexible and able to design different treatment strategies based on each unique situation.
I have small children and pets. Is it safe? Yes, all of our products are safe as long as followed according to the label. We only use products that are registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). When mixed with water, these products are only strong enough to kill small insects. You should keep all children and pets out of the room while we are spraying. Wait until the product is dry, then it is perfectly safe for children and pets to re-enter the room.
Are your technicians licensed and insured? Yes. All technicians are licensed applicators with The Idaho State Department of Agriculture and we are fully insured.
What do I need to do before you arrive? A general short list of helpful things to do would be: 1) Have the house as clutter free as possible. This provides less hiding areas for pests. 2) Clear as many items as possible away from the baseboards so we can spray where necessary. 3) A general mopping and vacuuming would be a good idea as well. Mopping before we arrive is good because if it’s done just after we spray it could remove some or all of the spray and cause the service inside to be ineffective.
If I see Bedbugs in my bed should I throw my bed out? It is not recommended to throw away your furniture if you see bedbugs on them. Beds and other furniture can be effectively treated for bed bugs. Throwing away your furniture can spread the bugs if the eggs fall off while throwing out, and any new furniture could also get infested if the problem hasn’t been eradicated first.
How often should I have my house treated for Mosquitoes? We recommend having the exterior sprayed every 3 weeks from May to September to effectively control an active infestation.
